System for forecasting and production of heat

CoolProfs helped Uniper (formerly E.ON) establish a reporting system for the forecasting and production of heat in the Rotterdam region. Now Uniper can automatically get the daily production forecasts to calculate production plans; perform delta analysis, identify production problems and settle  imbalances with suppliers. Previously this was a manual exercise in Excel, both time consuming and prone to errors, now it is a state-of-the-art online application built with the OutSystems platform..

Uniper produces and supplies electricity, heat and gas to customers in Belgium and the Netherlands.
