The Rainforest Alliance is an international non-profit organization working at the intersection of business, agriculture, and forests to make responsible business the new normal. We are building an alliance to protect forests, improve the livelihoods of farmers and forest communities, promote their human rights, and help them mitigate and adapt to the climate crisis.

At Rainforest Alliance, several applications have been developed. The most important applications are Licensing and Traceability.

Licensing supports the entire process by which farmers and supply chain actors can register and become certified according to Rainforest Alliance standards applicable to their specific farm situation.

Tracebility provides insight into the distribution of certified products from the farmer to the retailer.
