Rijk Zwaan The Netherlands is the sales company of Rijk Zwaan, an international vegetable breeding company with over 3,000 employees in 30 different countries. The head office is located in De Lier, South Holland, where all international activities are also managed.
The family business specializes in breeding, producing and selling vegetable seeds for professional cultivation worldwide. The company invests about 30 percent of its turnover annually in Research & Development activities.
Rijk Zwaan is making a change in the field of software development. Since 2015, Rijk Zwaan has been using the low code platform OutSystems to develop software faster, better and more efficiently along with CoolProfs acts as their implementation partner. More than 10 applications have now been delivered.
In 2018, Rijk Zwaan won the OutSystems Innovation Award for Operational Excellence.
